We offer single-dyed and double-dyed stabilized wood blocks, depending on the visual effect you are seeking for your finished product. Double-dyed wood blends two different colors in the dying process, yielding striking color transitions and our most “vivid” appearance.

Our stabilizing process involves introducing dye to the wood in a vacuum to ensure that the dyes fully penetrates the wood. Once the impregnated wood has been heat cured, the resulting product is more durable and less prone to warping or cracking than untreated wood.

We have found that Maple and Buckeye varieties of wood, and a few other wood species, respond best to being treated in this way, and each has their own subtle characteristics. You can see the dying options we offer for each species in our color chart.

Due to the time-consuming nature of the stabilization process, our production time for volume orders is 4-6 weeks. If you have questions about our business or the suitability of our products for your needs, please contact us below. Thank you!
